George H. Land (1851-1878)
Henry Land, Jr. (b. 1852)

"Henry was a very handsome man, with black hair and snappy dark eyes. He must have laughed a great deal, for his picture shows wrinkles at the corners of his eyes that could have only resulted from frequent laughter. That he loved trees was evidenced by the great variety of Furs, Pine, Balsams, and Cedars that surrounded his house, which is still in good condition."
