Thomas R. Dutton, son of John P. and
Clara A. Dutton, was born on a
farm southeast of Norway in Cloud
county, January 11, 1891 and had
spent the greater part of his life
in Republic County, Lincoln town-
ship. He received his grade school
education at Sunnyside school located
between Norway and Concordia.
He was united in marriage to
Alice Higgins on January 11, 1911.
To this union two children were
Born Thomas Edward and Betty
Jean. He was preceded in death by
his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Alice of
the home, one son Edward and daughter-
inlaw, Oneta of Murtaugh, Ida.,
one daughter Betty Jean and son-in-law
Othal D. Vrana,of Wichita, two sisters,
Mrs. Julia Poore of Woodston, Kan.,
and Mrs. Mary Hanson of Abilene, Kan,,
one brother, William of Concordia,
eight grandchildren, six great-grand
children, nieces and nephews other
relatives and friends.
Burial was in Belleville cemetery.
