Dale Edward Bolton, age 68, of Kingdom City, Missouri died Wednesday, October 13, 2003, at his home.

He was born October 12, 1932, in Elm Springs, Arkansas, the son of John Lee and Mary Lukens (Bolton). He married Ila Jean (Pope) Bo;ton on April 26, 1952. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four daughters, Nancy (Bolton) Polmeteer of Kingdom City, Missouri, Susan (Bolton) Old of Columbia, Missouri, Karen (Bolton) Holsman of New Bloomfield, Missouri and Lisa (Bolton) Cramer of Mexico, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Shannon Dale Polmateer of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Kristin Polmateer Schumach, Kara Polmateer Gray, Dustin Keith Turner, Joshua Kelean Old, Jessica Marae Holsman, Jerra Marnel Holsman and Cynthia Jean Abigale Cramer; six great-grandchildren, Austin Evan, Skyler Elyse, Reyna Brooklyn, Jordan Asia, Jaida Maeci and Treyon Charles Edward; four brothers, Ralph Bolton, Dennis Bolton, Wiley Bolton and John Russell Bolton, all of Fulton, Missouri; two sisters, Sandra Scott of Fulton, Missouri and Nadine Grace of Columbia, Missouri; many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Bolton; two sisters, Margaret M. Bolton and one nephew.

Mr. Bolton served four years in the United States Navy and was abroad the USS Antietam during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Harbison Walker Refractories in Fulton in 1995 after thirty-eight years. After retirement he drove a school bus in the North Callaway School District for three years.

Dale was a member of Richland Babtist Church where he served as a deacon. He was active with the Gideon Organization. Dale was installed as a council member for the village of Kingdom City on April 16, 1992, and was appointed chairman of the council in 1994.

Services are Saturday at Richland Babtist Church in Kingdom City with Reverend Don Kelley officiating. Burial follows in Richland Babtist Cemetery. Visitation is from 5;00-8;00pm today at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton and again from 12;00pm until time of service Saturday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Richland Babtist Church.
