Alvina Karnath Fricke was born Jan. 16, 1862 near Fountain City, Wis. and died Dec 19 at her home here at the the age of 81 years.
She was married in 1876 to Henry Fricke and four years later they moved to Nebraska.
Eight sons and daughters were born to the Frickes, six of whom are living. They are: Mrs. John Isaacson, Norfolk, Mrs. John Younger, Glendale Calif., Emma Fricke, Henry, Will and Vernon all of Winnetoon. Five grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held last week at the Hengstler chapel here followed by burial in the Winnetoon cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Levi Tenney, Roger Tenney, Clifford Holt, John Deerson, Walter Clare and Henry Ehrenberg.
