Nancy was born May 1, 1953 to Donald LaVar and Joyce Hoskins Timmerman in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Skyline High School and the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education. "Miss T." taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades at Rolling Meadows Elementary School for 26 years. She was involved in many activities and projects which benefited children. Her aim was to have each child leave her classroom feeling special. Nancy's greatest joy was in her beloved nieces Jessica and Ashley and the hundreds of students she cherished.

She is survived by her mother; grandmother, Leora Hoskins; sister, Candace Nenow; brother, Tim (Michelle); nieces, Jessica and Ashley; many friends; and her students. She was preceded in death by her father.

Her vitality, wit, and generosity will never be forgotten. Nancy donated her kidney in 1980 so her sister, Candace, could live, and in return she received two donor corneas. In Nancy's memory, sign a donor card.
