The Funeral of S.A.H. Marks

The funeral of Mr. S.A.H. Marks took place yesterday afternoon from his late residence, No. 630 G street southeast, as stated in The Star. Rev. C.D. Andrews of Christ Church, who officiated, was assisted by Rev. A.F. Steele. The remains were interred in the Congressional Cemetery. The pall-bearers were, on the part of Columbia Commandery, No. 2, K.T., Messrs. Smith and Pyles; Washington R.A. Chapter, No. 2, Messrs. A.T. Longley, and H.M. Gilman; Naval Lodge, No. 4, F.A.A.M., Messrs. Nathaniel miller and George Harrington. The Knights Templar burial service was read at the house by Sir Knight E.H. Chamberlain, and at the grave by W.M. Ed. Boteler, of Naval Lodge.
