He was born Oct. 26, 1905, in Shelby County to John and Julia (Cord) Wisker.
During October 1928, he married Alma Weintraut, who died in May 1949. On Nov. 10, 1951, he married Pauline Myers, who died March 11, 1962. On April 26, 1963, he married Alice Phares, who survives.
Also surviving are children Kenneth Wisker, Raymond Wisker, Mrs. Sharlena Routier and Mrs. Brenda Everhart, all of Shelbyville, and Mrs. Barbara Patterson, Greenwood; a sister, Emma Weintraut, St. Paul; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Five brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Wisker lived his entire life n Shelby County and he was a farmer until retiring in 1970. On two occasions, in 1936 and 1937, he won the Hoosier Ton Hog Litter Show at the Indianapolis Stockyards.
He also was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
Services will be at noon Friaday at St. Vincent's Church with the Rev. James Dede officiating. Friends may call at Murphy Mortuary after 4 p.m. Thursday. A rosary service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. (Obit: The Shelbyville News, Dec. 30, 1986)
