Matthias Welter Is Summoned by Death
Matthias Welter, 77 years old died in Mercy Hospital Saturday monring at 6:45 o'clock after an illness of two weeks duration.
He was a member of the Grand Army of the Repulbic. He is survived by his wife, two sons, John of Marshalltown, Henry of Hopkinton, Ia,. and two daughters, Mrs. Hugo Weber and Mrs. Charles Spielman, both of Cascade.
The remains were shipped yesterday afternoon from Voelker's chapel tot he home of Mrs. Spielman at Cascade. The funeral will be held Monday morning from the Spielman home to St. Mary's church in Cascade at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in the family lot. Friends are asked to omit flowers.
