WACO SCOTTISH RITE BODIES REUNION

JAMES MAC HARDY CLASS March 11, 12, 1977 James Mac Hardy, 32° 1930 - 1976.

In loving memory, the 1977 Spring Reunion Class of March 11 and 12, to be held at San Angelo, Texas, is affectionately dedicated to Brother James Mac Hardy, 32°, a faithful, loyal and devoted Mason.

Brother Hardy was born November 18, 1930 in Brown County. He laid down the working tools of earthly pursuits on November 7, 1976.

Brother Hardy began a dedicated and devoted life to law and order when he joined the San Angelo Police Department on November 3, 1958. His service and dedicated efforts in this vocation were a distinct credit to his profession in general and the San Angelo Police Department in particular. He was a graduate of the Texas Municipal Police School at Texas A&M University in 1961. Brother Hardy received a special commendation in 1961 for saving the life of a "coronary" victim.

Brother Hardy was initiated an Entered Apprentice Mason on June 3, 1965; passed to the Degree of Fellowcraft on July 29, 1965 and raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on September 9, 1965 in Concho Lodge Number 1260 of San Angelo.

Brother Hardy became a Scottish Rite Mason June 13, 1970 in the Dallas Scottish Rite Bodies and affiliated with the Waco Scottish Rite Bodies on May 16, 1972.

Brother Hardy is survived by his wife and two children.
To us, his friends and fellow Masons, the above record speaks volumes as to the devotion and contributions of Brother Hardy as a man and Mason. His life was to us a light and inspiration in our daily walks and his memory will continue so to be.
