Husband of Edith (Martha Edith) Walker and Mary Jane "Jennie" Keeney. Father of Frances, Emma and Ethel Barnhart.

Frank grew up in Washington County, Ohio and later moved to Indiana where he married Martha Edith Walker. They lived in Montgomery County, Indiana and also near Frank's hometown of Lowell, Ohio for awhile.

In Indiana Frank worked as a train fireman for the Monon Railroad. Unfortunately his marriage to Martha ended about 1906 and he then re-married to Mary Jane Keeney (herself being a recent divorcee.)

Frank and Mary Jane resided in Lafayette, Indiana along with Mary's son Harry Oliver Moore. Shortly after Frank's father, William Barnhart passed away Frank was stricken with a brain tumor and died of complications due to meningitis one day after his 50th birthday.

His two living daughters married and moved to South-East Michigan where they resided until their deaths. Martha Edith remarried after the divorce, to William (Jesse) Johnson. He passed away in 1922 and she too then moved to Michigan to be with her daughters and grandchildren.
