Funeral services for Max Graham Smith of West Monroe, LA, will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 10:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA. The Rev. Scott Jennings and Rev. Don Reeves will be officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Max, owner of After Hours Plumbing in West Monroe, was born August 7, 1951, and passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Max participated in sports during his high school years excelling in baseball and football.

Max was preceded in death by his father, James Peyton Smith and his father and mother-in-law J. D. and Vera Bennett.

Survivors include his wife JoAnne Bennett Smith, two sons, Jonathan Smith and Joseph Smith and wife Mandie of West Monroe, step-daughters Terri Gregory and husband Rice, Toni Grier and husband Bobby, Tammi Anderson and husband Johnny. Grandchildren Claiborne and Nolan Smith, Garrett Young, and Graham Smith. Step-grandchildren Kylie Jones, Kassidy Bennett, Kelci Rodgers, Anna Hayes, William Gregory, John Anderson and Jed Anderson.

Mother, Foye Nolan-Smith. Two brothers, Brad Smith of Farmerville and Danny Smith and wife Ann of Marion. Two sisters Roslyn Smith and husband Stan of Farmerville, Jayne Green and husband Bobby of Farmerville and a host of step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews Phillip Smith, James Bradley Smith, Jr., Chad Burford, Marc Mashaw, Wayne Williams, George Snellings and Daniel Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Scotty Aulds, Mike Watson, Remigio Leija, Randall Taylor, Bobby Swanner and Jim Paine and Max's grandsons.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be given to Antioch Cemetery Fund, 3438 Hwy 828, Farmerville, Louisiana 71241.
