Elsie moved to San Dimas, California, from Kansas City, Missouri, in 1936. She was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of the San Dimas Baptist Church since 1941, where she was president of The Dorcas Missionary Society for many years and was active in all areas of church work. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne L. Sapp in 1993. Elsie is survived by her husband, Wayne, 96, and her daughter, Michelle Campagna Berry, both of Fallbrook, California. Graveside services will be at Oakdale Memorial Park, Glendora, California, on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Dr. Gerald Ferrand of The First Baptist Church of San Dimas.
