It's a ten-pound girl, but if you want to know more about it, ask Ike White, in fact, he is one of the happiest men we have seen for a long while. (Brainerd Tribune, 17 September 1881, p. 6, c. 3)

Lottie was the Brainerd High School Class Valedictorian in 1901.

Lottie Elizabeth White married Louis Frank Hohman, Jr. on August 26, 1908 in Brainerd, Crow Wing County, Minnesota.

                  Oratorical Contest.

The oratorical contest held in the Presbyterian church on Wednesday evening last was a pleasant affair. The church was tastefully decorated with potted plants and cut flowers, the music was good and speaking fine. A fair sized audience greeted the speakers, but it was not as large as it should have been considering the cause, and the feast prepared. It does not speak well for Brainerd, that a "Medicine Show" draws a crowd, and an entertainment by our own bright young people calls out such a comparatively meager hearing. Miss Lottie White was the successful winner of the medal, and Miss Mabel Patterson carried off the magazine subscription, for second best.
