It is believed that Abraham and his wives are buried on the Stout homestead which was maintained by his son Joab Houghton Stout which Joab maintained. (source: Ralph Eng). Abraham's brother Capt.Nathan Stout wrote the History of the Stout Family before his death. Joab H and Eli were made wards of their sister Mary and her husband Jediah Stout.John H may have been raised by the Houghtons.
