Natalie Faye "Nat" Gibson, 40, died Thursday, July 21, 2011.

She was born July 20, 1971, in Beaver, Okla. She grew up in Ingalls and Montezuma, graduating from Montezuma High School in 1989.

She served as a research attorney for the Kansas Judicial Council.

Survivors include her life partner, Lori Allison of Topeka; her mother and father, Dr. Gerald and Staci Gibson of Montezuma; two brothers, Brandon Gibson of Clay Center, and Keynan Gibson of Belle Plaine; and her grandmother, Burnetha Jackson of Dumas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leon Gibson, Margaret McDonald and M.C. "Chuck" York; and her stepgrandfather, Harold Jackson.

Cremation was held. A celebration of life service was at Central Congregational Church.
