Age 78 years, nine months and 16 days, s resident of East Prairie, passed away Friday June 11, 2010 at 9:49 a.m. in the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born August 25, 1931 at Adamsville, Tennessee to the late Hezikish and Susana Boswell Sisk, Mildred lived in East Prairie most of her life, she was a member of the First Church of God in East Prairie. On February 27, 1952 she married Doll Brown who preceded in death on July 11, 1992.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Allen & Vicki Brown of Booneville, Mississippi; four daughters and three son-in-laws, DeLores & Sam P. Miller, Kay & Jim Lloyd and Karen & Gordon Jones of East Prairie and LaDonna Davis of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and many friends.
One daughter, Angela Denise Brown; one grandson, Samuel Preston Miller; one son-in-law, James H. Davis; four brothers; and two sisters preceded Mildred in death.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie until time of Funeral services at 3 p.m. in the Shelby Chapel with Bro. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery with Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lloyd, Travis Jones, Robbie Brown, Jason Brown, Brandon Wilson and Michael Williams.∼The daugther of Willam Hessacarr Sisk and Suzana Boswell Sisk. Born in Adamsville,Tn. In 1952 she married Doll Brown of East Prairie, mo. they had 3 children, Janet Kay Brown, Allen Dale Brown and Karen Jean Brown.
