Woman Struck By Auto Dies
Mrs Ada Webb 66, Channahon, Succumbs to Injuries; 14th Victim.

Mrs Ada Webb 66 years old Channahon is the 14th victim of the year. She died yesterday morning in St. Joseph's
hospital following injuries received Saturday night when she was struck by an automobile driven by Clarence Anderson of Morris, Illinois.
Mrs. Webb was struck while walking across the highway in
Channahon about 7 o'clock Saturday night. The motorist claimed in a report to the sheriff's office that she stepped
out from behind a truck and an automobile that had just passed in the opposite direction and that he had no opportunity to avoid hitting her or stopping his car.
Preliminary examination disclosed a fractured leg and arm, but the seriousness of her internal injuries were not know at first. Her condition became steadily worse during the night and she succumbed at 9 o'clock yesterday morning.
Anderson was released by deputies after he made his report.
The body was removed to the James F. Haley funeral parlors in Joliet where the services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Willard Grove cemetery Channahon, Illinois.
