Succumbs at Geisinger Hospital as Result of Operation Last Week

Kleine Harlan Royer, for the past seven years proprietor of the City Supply and Book Store, died yesterday, morning at the Geisinger Memorial Hospital, Danville, following a major operation last Thursday. Mr. Royer had been ill only intermittently and had gone to the Danville Hospital for observation preceding the operation.
The body has been brought to Lauer Mortuary where it will remain until tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock when it will be taken to the home of Mr. Royer's sister, Mrs. Edward Hosterman of Rebersburg where funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 10.30 o'clock, the Reverend H. P. Maneval of Avis officiating. Burial will be made at Rebersburg, his birthplace. Mr. Royer came to this city, following his purchase of the City Supply and Book Store from Burkett Brothers, from Jersey Shore where he was assistant cashier in the Jersey Shore Trust Company.
He had lived in Jersey Shore for 8 years. A graduate of Bucknell University in the class of '09, Mr. Royer was also a member of Phi Kappa Psi social fraternity. He formerly affiliated with the Jersey Shore Lodge of Elks.
Survivors included his sister and his brother, Dr. E. L. Royer, Lock Haven.
