Stockton - Richard Lyle Drane of Stockton died this morning in his home following an apparent heart attack.
he farmed most of his life and has lived in Stockton since his marriage to Blanche Simmons on Dec. 2, 1924 at Lena.
Born Feb. 1, 1902, in Rush Township, Jo Daviess County, he was the son of Ora and Minnie (Pulfrey) Drane.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Ralph of Pearl City and Deryl of Stockton; six grandchildren; one brother, Earl of Stockton; and one sister Mrs. Allen (Dorothy) Coomber of Waddams Grove. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hermann Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery, northwest of Stockton.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
