Paula Diane Dickey Watts Smith age 70 of London formerly of Belleville passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home in Russellville.
Paula was born December 30, 1949 in Lubbock, Texas to Raymond Leon & Margaret Adams Dickey. She was the owner and operator of Dickey Refrigerated Service and raised chickens for Wayne Farms for 30 years. She was a longtime member of Extension Homemakers, Yell County Rodeo and Riding Club, Cub Scout Leader, a cancer survivor at the age of 29 years old. She was a big supporter in the community and always lending a hand to anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her father; husbands, James Franklin "Butch" Watts and Michael Gregory Smith; mother-in-law and fathers-in-law, France Johnson, C.P. Johnson and Jim Watts; brothers, Dennis Dickey and Kenneth Dickey.
Survivors include her mother, son, Mark & Janis Watts of Belleville; daughter, Annie Cain & Alvin Butler of Belleville; brothers, Paul & Ruth Dickey of Hot Springs; Bruce & Kay Dickey of Russellville; grandchildren, Savannah Kilburn, Santannah Cain, Shelby Cain all of Russellville, Silas Leaver of Cabot, Sayler Butler, Shaden Butler, Slayden Butler all of Belleville; Katy Haggard of Boonville; James Long and Dalton Watts both of Belleville; great-grandchildren, Jameson Reynolds and Rayle Reynolds of Russellville; sisters-in-law, Pam Holcomb and Nancy Johnson both of Pine Bluff.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Holcomb and Larry White officiating. Visitation will be 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, February 7, 2020 at the funeral home and 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday at the church before the service. Burial will be at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Tony Suttles, Bobby Long, Warren Dickey, J.P. Dickey, Eddie Holcomb and Jason Holcomb.
Honorary pallbearers include Bruce Dickey, Paul Dickey, John George Sr., Richard Adams, Bob Smith, John George Jr., James Moore, Mike Loyd, and Tony Cain.
