Services for Wales C. Halsey, 80, who died Thursday, March 2 1967 at his home on the Halsey Road, Town of Mexico, were Sunday at the Gibbs Funeral Home with burial to be in Primitive Cemetery In the spring. Masonic services were held Saturday.
Mr. Halsey was born in the Town of Mexico and was a life resident. He was a farmer and was a member of Mexico Lodge, F&AM.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Pickens Halsey; three sons, Lyle, Pulaski; Carl, Mexico and John Halsey, Forest Park, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Blumer, Parish; a sister, Mrs. Cherrie Roach, Mexico; and 14 grandchildren.
