Harley Blocker Died At Age 77 In Glennville
Harley "Hay" Blocker,77,died last Friday in Glennville after a long illness.
He was a native of Tattnall County, living in Glennville all if his life. He was a retired farmer and member of Birdford Baptist Church.
He is survived by three nieces, Jeanette Howard, Janice Todd, and Velma Salter, all of Glennville; two nephews, Meral Blocker of Decatur and Dannis Blocker of Glennville; and several other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. last Sunday in the Rimes-Stewart Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Oscar Rowe, Jr. and Rev. Gary Bradham. Burial was in Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lee Howard, Dannis Blocker, Jason Blocker, Brian Hall, Aubrey Sands and Gary Banks.
Rimes-Stewart Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
