Delores Maxine "Kitty" (Robinson) Smith
Delores Maxine "Kitty" Smith, 76, of Florida and formerly of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in Chiefland, Fla.
Born Jan. 29, 1935, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ida Mae Childers Robinson, both of whom preceded her in death. On April 14, 1963, in Brownstown, she married Ernest A. Smith, who preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 2000.
Mrs. Smith and her husband were the owners and operators of the Rancho Grande Motel in Stuart, Fla., for nine years. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925 Ladies Auxiliary in Seymour.
Survivors include her children, Pamela Smith, Wayne Lebline, Pam Olson and Debbie Adams; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Pat Robinson and Cletus Robinson; and a sister, Goldie.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Marie Kellerman, Barbara Jo Shatto, Betty Jean Campfield and Ruby Mae Myrick.
No formal services will be conducted, as the family will have a private gathering at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Smith's honor to the American Heart Association.
