Died while crossing the plains to be married in Santa Cruz. With no communication facilities available at the time, her body was brought to Santa Cruz when plans for her wedding were just being completed. Her lover buried her at Evergreen and placed an iron fence around her grave.

Her grave is the second oldest at Evergreen.
