Herschel Woodson Dies At Paris
PARIS — Herschel Woodson, 48, farmer southeast of Paris, died at 10:30 Friday morning at his home following a prolonged illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Speed and Blakey Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Sunday by the Rev. Paul Paschal, Methodist pastor. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery.
He was born in Monroe county, and lived in this vicinity all his life.
Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Edith White of Paris; two daughters, Carolyn and Norma Jean; two sons. James and Charles Edwards; and by three sisters: Mrs. Norma Kemp of Vandalia; Mrs. Delphine Webber of Farber; Mrs. Mildred LeGrand of Madison; and one brother, Cecil Woodson, of Vandalia.
