"SOHNS, Dr Carl John of Cross Plains. Age 68. Died 1/3/1982 (Sunday) at his home in Cross Plains. Services were held 1/5 (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Cross Plains Cemetery. Rev. Bill Reed officiated. Higginbotham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He was BORN 4/14/1913 and spent his early years in Thorndale. He served Cross Plains for 30 years and was the only doctor there.
