They had three children: Kern Bough, Donna Alexander, and Suzy Bough. Five grandchildren.
He had six siblings. Bob Bough, Margaret Allen, Tressie Emery, Mary, Wilma and Paul Bough.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Odon.
He was an Army Veteran and a retired Chief of Police at the United States Navel Ammunition Depot in Crane, Indiana.
