Sgt. Patrick K. Durham, 24, of Chattanooga, Tenn. died Aug. 28 in Babur, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked their unit with an improvised explosive device. 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. He leaves his wife, Kristy W. Durham and two sons, Elijah and Jordan, one daughter, Cheyenne, his father, Sammy Durham, a brother, SGT. Brandon L. Durham, three sisters, Nikki, Samara and Kristi. His mother, Tammy F. Henderson, is deceased.Sgt. Patrick K. Durham, 24, of Chattanooga, died Saturday Aug. 28, 2010, on active duty serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan. He served in the U.S. Army from 2006 until 2010 and was stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky. He always had a smile that would enlighten anyone that he met. Patrick has left behind a grand legacy that will live on forever. Survivors: wife, Kristy Wright Durham; two sons, Elijah Durham and Jordan Gage Allison; one daughter, Cheyenne Fox; father, Sammy Durham; brother, Sgt. Brandon L. Durham; three sisters, Nikki Sizemore, Samara and Kristi Durham; two uncles, Donald and Danny Durham; one aunt, Sandra Durham; many nephews and nieces.
