M. Marie (Jones) Tapp, 75, loving Mother & Grandmother of St. Joseph, went to meet her Lord & Savior on Monday, January 7, 2002 with her loving family at her side at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Benton Harbor, with Fr. Larry Kroll officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeshore Cemetery, Hagar Township. Friends may call at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 PM.
Liturgical prayers will be recited at 7:30 PM. Memorials may be made to St. John-St. Bernard Parish or the St. Joseph Lions Club.

Marie was born on September 14, 1926 in Summit, Arkansas to William & Nora (Landers) Ingram. She was employed by V-M Corporation in Benton Harbor for many years. Marie was a member of St. John-St. Bernard Parish where she served on the Altar Society. She was known for being a very loving, caring, & giving person.

Marie is survived by three daughters-Pat (Mike) Cockrell of Stevensville, Kathy (Michael) Piraino of Coloma, Dar (Tom) Angelo of Benton Harbor, her son Jerry W. (Deb) Jones of St.
Joseph, grandchildren-Lisa, Michael, Thad, Amy, Justin, David, Becki, Tiffany, & Jamie, four great-grandchildren, a brother-Ben (Trudy) Ingram of Eau Claire, MI.,three sisters-Inez Langston, Margaret Haney, & Ida Burge all of St.
Joseph, and a dear friend,Virginia Pruiett of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her first husband,J. W. Jones in 1958, her second husband-Neil Tapp; three brothers-Bill,
Russell, & James Ingram, and her sister-Zelda Moxley.
