William Fenno Pratt was the most celebrated architect of the area of Hampshire County, Massachusetts. He is credited with designing many of the buildings which contribute to the ambiance enjoyed today in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Among his many noteworthy commissions are the Northampton City Hall and The Evergreens in Amherst, Massachusetts, the home of Emily Dickinson's brother, Austin.
