CADE, Ira J., age 79, of 717 E. North Street, City, passed away in a Seattle hospital Monday, June 18, (1951). Mr. Cade had resided in this community for the past 53 years and had for many years, been Assistant Fire Chief of the Bellingham Fire Dept. Deceased was a member of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 31, I.O.O.F. and F.O.E. Aerie No. 31, and had been a fifty-year member of the Macabees. Surviving relatives are one daughter, Mrs. Alice Lapiers and three grandchildren, all of Ferndale, and one brother, Alfred, of Capac, Mich. The remains rest at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. Ray S. Wagoner and officers of the Odd Fellows Thursday, June 21, at 1:00 p.m.
