Susie A. Russell, daughter of Arnold and Mary Russell was born March 17, 1852 in Huntington county, Pennsylvania.
At the age of six years her family moved to Buda, Illinois, where her girlhood days were spent. This family consisted of four children; William, Margaret, Katie, and Susie.
It was while living at Buda that she united with the Congregational church wich has been the church of her choice through life.
On January 15, 1878 she was united in marriage with Lint Kealiher of Sheffield, Illinois. The following June they came to Nebraska and that fall established a home 15 miles northwest of York in Arborville township where they lived until 1890. They came to York in 1900 wich has been their home ever since.
To this union were born four children; Moses, Edith, Marie, and Katie. Edith passed away at the age of two years.
Mrs. Kealiher is survived by her husband Lint Kealiher, her son Moses, of Bradshaw, two daughters , Mrs. D. B. Deremer, and Mrs. Paul Bayley, both of York. Also by one sister, Mrs. T. A. Zink of Buda, Ill., and 10 grandchildren.
She passed away at the family home 1117 Division Ave., at 8:25 Friday morning April 20, at the age of 76 years, one month and 3 days.
