Mr. John B. Rankin died at the residence of his nephew, Mr. James L. Rankin at Clementsburg Monday morning. The interment took place at Mt. Zion Tuesday.
Four years ago, Mr. Rankin came from Henderson County and made his home with his nephew. He was 81 years old. Pneumonia was the cause of his death.
