Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Laura (Pacheco) Parquette, he lived in Bristol for the last 14 years, previously living in East Providence.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church in Warren.
Mr. Parquette was a member of the Fox Point Bowling League.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter Cheryl Jocelyn of Bristol; a brother, Norman Parquette of North Kingstown and three grandchildren. He was the father of the late Edward E. Parquette and brother of the late Cynthia Frias.
The funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of theBay Church, Main Street, Warren. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
