She was born on Dec. 9, 1945, in Indianapolis, to Paul & Clara (Buford) Brooking, she first married Larry Brazzell and he preceded her in death in 1996, she later married Paul Blondin on Sept. 8, 2005, in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and he survives.
Mary Lou was a teacher at Bedford North Lawrence Career Center.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Paul Blondin of Mitchell, three sons, Brian Brazzell and wife Amy of Mitchell, Travis Brazzell and his companion Debbie Chisham of Mitchell and Matthew Brazzell of Medora; three stepdaughters, Christina Gilmer of Kentucky, Melissa Connell of New York and Kimberly Gertister of Kentucky; nine grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Carl Brooking of Tunnelton, Robert Brooking of Leesville, Kenny Brooking of Bedford, Louis Brooking of Zelma and Gary Brooking of Bedford; and one sister, Gladys Brooking of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Larry Brazzell; and one brother, Paul Brooking.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
