Ondalee Prevett Littrell was born to Joseph E. "Joe" and Mae Morris Prevett on Nov. 27, 1924, in Warm Springs, Arkansas. She was one of four children and the oldest girl born to the couple. She started school in Warm Springs, went to high school in Pocahontas, and completed at the high school in Maynard, graduating in 1944 along with her sister Madge. She obtained a teaching certificate and taught school in Warm Springs.

On September 5, 1945, she and James Harold Littrell were united in marriage by local Church of Christ minister Tommy Kidd in Warm Springs. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri, for Harold to receive training as a General Motors auto mechanic. Harold later became a preacher for the Churches of Christ, beginning in 1947 in Paris, Texas. Ondalee was a stay-at-home mother and homemaker. Over the years the Littrells lived in a number of small towns in Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, Mississippi, and Georgia. In the latter years of their lives they lived at Ravenden Springs, Paragould, and Ravenden, Arkansas. They had three daughters: Patsy Lee, Mae Retta, and Jana Ruth. After Harold died on August 21, 2001, Ondalee lived at Ravenden, Imboden, Bono, Heber Springs, and Pocahontas, Arkansas.

Ondalee died of sepsis after a brief infection at age 86, on Friday, July 22, 2011, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Graveside services were held in the Brakebill Cemetery, between Warm Springs and Middlebrook, Arkansas, on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2011. Gerald Fears, minister of the Skaggs Church of Christ in East Pocahontas, presided at the services. Taylor-Cox Funeral Home of Pocahontas was in charge of arrangements.

Ondalee was survived by three daughters, Patsy Lee Gadberry of Jonesboro, Mae Retta Condray of Cassville, Missouri, and Jana Ruth Evans of Imboden; four grandchildren, Sheena R. Carver, Rachel L. Gadberry, James H. Patterson and Krysta L. Patterson Huttig; two great-grandchildren, William "Will" Bearden and Cameron James Scott Huttig; and a sister, Patsy Jo Rapert of Pocahontas.

Ondalee was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Littrell, of Ravenden; a brother, Lloyd L. Prevett, Sr., of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and a sister, Madeline "Madge" Wright of Hudson, Florida.
