Mr. Burns was a retired master electrician and served in the Korean War in the United States Navy. He was a member of the IBEW Local 474 and First Baptist Church.
Mr. Burns is survived by his wife of 49 years Sarah Court Burns; four sons, Robin T. Burns Jr., Albert Todd Burns and Timothy C. Burns all of Forrest City and William M. Burns of Woodbury, Tenn. and five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Burns will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at First Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Family Funeral Care of Memphis is in charge of all arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church on North Rosser Street.
