Fannie's father and grandfather settled in in the Tow Valley area in 1853. She is a descendant of Morgan Morgan.Colonel Morgan Morgan (November 1, 1688 — November 17, 1766) Col. Morgan Morgan and his descendants are intertwined with the history and development of Virginia and West Virginia. Morgan Morgan held military and civil positions in colonial VA which entitled his female descendants to membership in the Colonial Dames of America.
Fannie married Allen Timothy Pope on 29 Apr 1886 in Llano County. They had 12 children only 5 making to adulthood and raised there families in Texas. The other children died of illness at young ages. They had a farm on a hill above Bend, Texas.
