Death of Mrs. Theresa Naas

Mrs. Theresa Naas, 86, mother of Mrs. G. A. Loltz and stepmother of Fred Naas, died Sunday morning at a hospital in Los Angeles. She had resided in the West since leaving Winona about 25 years ago. Mrs. Naas had been at the hospital for 20 months. Death was due to the infirmities of age. She was born in Germany, and came to this country when a small child. She resided in Winona for 60 years. He husband Fred Naas died 15 years ago. She had 12 children, nine of whom survive. They are Mrs. Loltz, Winona; Mrs. John Baker, Los Angeles; Mrs. Lydia Elliott, Inglewood, Calif.; Mrs. Fred Birdall, Sparks, Nev.; Christ Naas, San Francisco, Calif.; Julius Naas, Chicago; David Naas, Minneapolis; Herbert Naas, Oakland, Calif. and Ferdinand Stahl, Los Angeles. One stepson, Fred Naas, Winona; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Naas was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical church here. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at Los Angeles. Burial will be at Azusa, Calif.
