Earl G. Teter
Earl Grey Teter, 67, a resident of 644 Glenmore Loop Road, Elkins, passed away at 5 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2004, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born Jan. 27, 1937, at Sully, the son of the late John and Gladys Kerns Teter.
Surviving are one son, Gene Teter of Elkins; one daughter, Mrs. David (Lisa) Davis of Elkins; one brother, Steve Teter of Spotsylvania, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Glen "Sis" Schoonover of Elkins; and three grandchildren, David Justin, Leslie Rachel and Joshua Brandon Davis, all of Elkins.
Also preceding him in death were one brother, Johnny Junior Teter; and infants Kenneth and Lucille Teter.
Mr. Teter attended the schools of Randolph County and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the West Virginia Department of Highways prior to his retirement.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Walter Blough officiating. Interment will follow in the Kerns Cemetery near Sully. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Earl Grey Teter.
