The funeral services of Mrs. Emma V. Jewett will be held Sunday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. T.B. Manzer, South Yellowstone street. Mrs. Jewett died last night from asthma, she was 77 years old. Last month her birthday anniversary was celebrated and at that time she seemed in very good health. She was born in New york state and came to Livingston from Nebraska in the '80's, taking eight weeks for the overland trip. Her husband died 12 years ago. He was a veteran of the Civil War. Three daughters survive, Mrs. T.B. Manzer of this city, Mrs. A.B. Barrows of Bartlett, Michigan, and Mrs. J.A. Lenzen of Gervin, Canada.
