Son of Tyler Ephraim & Minnie Lumpkin Eades; widower of Lula Mae Wilkinson Eades.

Survived by five daughters, Berta Mae Eades, Willie Grace Lesley, and Rebecca Davis of Liberty, Ollie Belle Kelley of Tamassee, and Jeanette Adcock of Toledo, OH; five sons, Rev. James H. Eades of Dixon, TN, Tom Eades of Temperance, MI, Edward Eades of Spokane, WA, and Joseph R. Eades & Paul M. Eades, both of Liberty; 31 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; and a brother, R. B. Eades of West Union.

Funeral services: Wednesday, June 29, 1977, Golden Grove Wesleyan Church.

Burial: Liberty Memorial Gardens
