Phoebia Wells, daughter of John M. and *Susan Jane Tabor/Taber was born October 29, 1865, departed this life Dec. 31, 1955 at the age of 80 yrs 2 months and 1 day.
She was united in marriage to Marion Francis Wells in 1879. To this union 1 child was born. B. P. Wells of Isabella, Mo.
Marion Francis Wells preceded her in death in 1881. In 1882 she was married to W. M. Wells who preceded her in death in 1900. To this union 6 children where born. Four have preceded her in death. Those surviving are Hiram Wells of Isabella, and Willie Wells of Arkansas City, Kansas. Also 1 boy Roy Wells of Isabella survives her, also a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
She was converted at an early age and lived a christian life until death.
She would always say that she was ready to go when God called her.
Services were held Sunday, January 1, 1955 at 2:00 p.m. in the Isabella school house with Rev. Willie Hillhouse officiating. Burial was in the Lutie cemetery under direction of the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Gainesville.

After Marion and William "Dink" M. Wells died, Phoebe married Jeremiah "Jerry" McCullah (NOT McCullough). She didn't live with him long,and did not go by the last name of McCullah, BUT McCullah was her legal name at time of death, as they were not divorced.
