Virginia Anne (Barnes) Lee was the daughter of Al G. Barnes and Sarah Jane Hartigan.
She spent her childhood traveling across the United States with her father's circus and continued to travel throughout her life. She once lived in Granada, Spain, where she opened a ballet school.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Lachman, of Murphys, and Michelle Poulos, of Silver Spring, Md.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
