Mabel contracted tuberculosis 2 years after her daughter.A small living quarters was built away from the main house for her to be kept. Her sister Gertrude felt she was the healthest and looked after her, but her sister Gertrude also contracted the illness and died 2 months after her sister Mabel.
They were both buried in St John Roman Catholic Cemetery in Flinton. They were both in the procedure of converting to Catholics, but had not reached that status. Thus, they were not allowed to have markers on their graves. They are buried at the rear of the cemetery in unmarked graves. Actual plots unknown.
Nephew: Charles James Kammer 1930-2012
