He worked as layout man in the restoration of the White House in 1952, worked in the Congressional Library and also the Bureau of Engraving in Washington D.C.
In 1973, Myers received the Goldcard and Pen signifying over 50 years as a member of the Bricklayers and Masons and Plasterers International Union of America. He served as a mason for over 60 years until his health forced his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Cathryn I. Fleming, two children, Clyde F., New Oxford and Donna J. Boyer, Gettysburg. Also 7 grandchildren,one great grandson and three sisters and two brothers, Helen Markle, Biglerville, Clara Musselman, Fairfield, Ethel Weikert, Gettysburg, Paul and Raymond Myers of Fairfield.
