Jason was born Jan. 15, 1983, in Bloomington, Ind., the son of John D. Norris and Teresa L. Poole.
Jason received his General Educational Development certificate and later worked in the construction industry. Jason enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved Alaska.
"Jason was loved dearly by his family and he will be missed," his family wrote. "Jason loved the outdoors, his dog and his beloved wife and daughter. His good-natured smile and pleasant character made him loved by all who knew him."
Preceding him in death were his cousin, Joshua Poole; and his grandfather, Allen Poole.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on July 30 at the East Oolitic Community Church with Pastor Millard Jones officiating.
