She was a daughter to Everett and Helen (Grossell) Linnabary. On Dec 6, 1959, she married Richard "Dick" Adams, who survives.
Surviving are two sons, Matthew, Defiance and Ricky, Napoleon; a daughter, April Wassermann, Waterville; a brother, Fred, Dustin, OK; two half-sisters, Nellie Scherer, Grover Hill and Ella Eblin, Melrose; and two grandchildren.
Deceased is a granddaughter, Holly Wassermann.
She was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church, Defiance Hospital Auxiliary, Oakwood Pride & Patience CCL Club, a former EMT for Oakwood EMS, Oakwood Library Board for more than 20 years, United Methodist Women, Mother of the Year in Ohio in 1981 for her service with the Paulding County Board of Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities, a volunteer at Defiance Hospital for many years and a nurses aide at various nursing homes.
Services were at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood, with Pastor Michael Brown, officiating.
