GONE TO HER LONG REST

The reaper of death last night claimed as it's victim Miss Vina G. Billiter, daughter of William M. Billiter; of Dallas township, and sister to the publisher of THE DEMOCRAT. She had been sick about four weeks with typhoid fever and gradually her condition became worse until the end came. From the first, she had said that she would never get well and her saying came only too true.

Miss Billiter was born in Jefferson township December 7th, 1859, making her age thirty years, eight months and five days. She was a young lady that was beloved and held the highest respect of her wide circle of friends. Her death cast a shadow of sorrow over all her acquaintances and sends a pang of regret to every heart. The deceased was well known and had many friends in this city.

The funeral takes place Thursday, services being held at the house by Rev. W.M. Nelson, of Andrews, at 2 o'clock p.m., after which the remains will be interred in Mt. Hope cemetery.
