Paul M. Garber

Paul M. Garber, 95, formerly of Middlebury, died at 8:30 pm on Wednesday, July 13, at Courtyard of Goshen. He was born
on November 19, 1915, in Elkhart County, to Abraham and Florence (Miller) Garber. He graduated in 1933 from Middlebury
High School. On May 18, 1940 in Goshen he married Mary Swihart, Mary died July 13, 2010. Surviving are a daughter, Linda
Garber of Middlebury, a sister, Jolene (John) Bollinger and sister-in-law, Marjorie Garber both of Goshen. He was
preceded in death by his wife, both parents, three brothers, Ralph, Allen and Dean Garber, a sister, Elizabeth Luke. On
November 1, 1980 he retired from the Middlebury Cooperative Creamery as plant superintendent after 42 ½ years. After
retirement he raised pheasant and quail. He was a member of the Middlebury Church of the Brethren for 71 years. Family
and friends may meet at 9:30 am on Saturday July 23, at Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury, for a graveside service
conducted by Pastor Dan Petry. Memorials may be given to Middlebury Food Pantry.
